"Career Planning and Job Search Skills"

A "Career Planning and Job Search Skills" seminar was organized for our Accounting and Taxation students by Balıkesir İŞKUR (Turkish Employment Agency) Job and Vocational Counselors Sümeyye Kaplan Gök, Nihal Girgin Pala, Serap Çelebi Yılmaz, and Ayla Ay Bektaş on April 27-28, 2026.

During the two-day training, which was also attended by our department faculty members, students received training on Interview Techniques, Communication and Body Language, CV Preparation Techniques, Vocational Orientation Test Battery, and Job Search Skills. The training, which was met with high student participation and interest, concluded with the awarding of certificates issued by İŞKUR. After the Head of Department, Dr. Nisa Kıymet Şahin, presented thank-you certificates to the speakers for their valuable information and contributions, the training ended.
