Our Mission
The purpose of our Accounting and Tax Applications Department is to train personnel who will meet the needs of accounting and finance departments in accounting or consultancy firms and commercial companies that provide accounting and tax services. The program aims to provide students with the ability to grasp the fundamentals of accounting, understand the functions and importance of accounting, follow relevant legislation, create accounting records, analyze financial structures, and utilize financial values in decision-making. It aims to familiarize students with basic accounting concepts and documents, understand the principles of preparing a balance sheet and income statement from financial statements, prepare financial statements in a computerized environment, and use accounting packages. It also introduces the role of tax law within the legal system, the application of resources, and the fundamental concepts of taxation and the taxation process.
